Montblanc Meisterstuck Classique ballpoint twist pen?

Is there any way to tell if this is a fake? It has the white star on top, but it looks like it is worn and coming off. Besides it saying Montblanc Meisterstuck around the middle gold band there is no other identification.|||I have the pen you are talking about. The white star must be a seperate piece which is attached from the inside of the pen, it takes a specific montblanc ink refill. Open it up see if the cartrige says montblanc. This model doesnt have the made in germany on the outside but the ink cart should. Alos this is the most common monty out there. Brand new it cost about $110 thats all.|||Some identification info will be printed on the gold ring of the "clip" as well. Model and "germany" I believe
