How to become a yuppie?

I don't want any negative criticisms about the Yuppie culture. So if your a hater GO AWAY!!!!! Any yuppies out there??? I'm going to graduate from Harvard Business school next year and I want to know how to be a yuppie. I currently wear designer clothes such as monarchy, affliction, roar, mission, true religion, etc. I want to learn how to be cultured. I want to know about Gucci, Loui Vutton, Prada, Cavlvin Klein, Armani, i dont know anything about cologne so tell me about that. Where do I get my haircuts I currently get extreme metro asian haircuts but I wanted to know where yuppies get their hair done. What kind of exotic sports cars do they drive. I currently drive a BMW. But I would like to know about sports cars like ferrari and lambourghini. I have a tennis court, should I start playing golf? I'm also interested in polo and lacrosse. I'm ranked in the top 35 in fencing in the nation. I'm not sure if I should pursue that. I also have an obsession with swimming and cross country. What kind of wine and how old of wine do I drink. Where do I eat and watch operas? If so what do I order? What are yuppie hobbies? What is the best city to live in for a yuppie? What kind of music should I listen to? I currently am listening to R%26amp;B and jazz. I have a blackberry storm, mac and sony, ipod classic. I almost forgot to mention luxury pens such as montblanc and buisness cards. Lets don't forget about stereo system and kind of music I should follow. What should my attitude and etiquette be? I know I'm too young to be refined, well-educated, sophisicated, knowledgable about cultures, and independent. But I want the right guidance and answers to achieve my passions and desires. I'm currently 26 and am in mergers and acquisitions.|||I know a Yuppie BMW is good, you can't go wrong with anything German (Except Volkswagen) remember you are learning keep it simple!!!!! Two hot women Yuppies always date and have sex with hot women, much younger and blonde (NO REDHEADS!!!). Yuppies don't play polo, (You might get hurt) Yuppies golf, and play tennis, ditch the fencing, Yuppies jog if don't jog start.


New York is the Yuppie Capital of the world, followed by LA, Chicago, and Dallas and Houston, and Miami.


Yuppies like Jazz, and Smooth Jazz (I'm not joking) mix in a little classical, stay away from Mendel, and the guy Hitler liked (I forgot his name)


Find a good clothing store, they'll show you how to dress, no half windsor knots, full Windsor or don't wear a tie.


You have all the toys (KEEP THEM CURRANT!!!) Yuppies always have newest and best of everything.

I'm a yuppie that likes to round up Mexicans and I love telling the media that they are all bad criminals, and that's why I don't let them talk to the news stations LFMAO! You are the downfall of America, and society in general. Why don't you try to be your own person you putz. Most stereotypical Yuppies work in financial institutions. Stereotypical Yuppies are very interested in the latest gadgets, high end fashion trends etc. Wear suites in colours that do not stick out, and get a conservative haircut, suitable for conducting business. Basically, anyone who is a young, educated, and successful businessman with a taste for high end luxury items can be classified as a yuppie. A close stereotype would be the "Prep", unlike the Yuppie, "Preps" only often appear to be successful. Along with some minor differences in dress codes, (ie. "Preps" wear Polo's and shorts, while Yuppies mostly dress in high-end suites) they are very similar.


After that explanation, I don't see why you should mold your personal taste just to fit into a sub-group. Yuppies, just like everyone else, have their own unique taste in music, and sports. "Yuppie" stands for "Young Urban Professional", and it only defines the occupational aspect for an individual. There is no definition as to which genres of music define you as Yuppie, and which sport is only enjoyed by them.


After reading your question, I hope it isn't a joke and an allusion to "American Psycho". A good start to being a Yuppie, would be to start spelling like a Yuppie, proper punctuation and grammar is a must to look professional.
